[...] Well, week 8 of the NFL season is over and that means we’re roughly halfway through fantasy football. Seems like as good a time as any to review how things have unfolded given my early optimism. [...]

Hooray, preseason injuries! Nothing like getting started early.
We expect to meet Baby Ista (a temporary name coined by Braxton--he's been into making up words lately) at the end of December or early January. Christina is doing very well now. She had a really rough patch early on, but she's been enjoying the opposite extreme lately.
Are you digging life as Daddy?

Well hey, would you look at that.... Schaub sprained his ankle during tonight's game against the Vikings. Sorry if I jinxed him.

I'm not sure it's the actuaries she hates, per se, but I applaud your taking up the mantle with pride! Thanks for the explanation... it hadn't even occurred to me that you work in the health insurance industry. Yeah, I'm a smart one.

When's #2 due and how's Christina holding up?

I would absolutely love it if Schaub would just stay on the field this year. I see Edwards as a potential dark horse, but most definitely a risk. I've been into changing up draft strategies lately, so we'll see how this one works out.
My favorite Speaker Nancy Pelosi has referred to health insurers as "villains" while pushing her reform bill. Since I've been branded as one, I'm embracing the role of villain. Why not?

Glad someone read it.

You've certainly got a stellar WR corps, but I'm not convinced that your duo of Schaub and Edwards isn't going to be a liability. If Schaub stays healthy you'll be okay, but that's not a given.

While we're on the subject of FFL, can you explain your team name?

Ben, I had an interest in your writeup! I find it intriguing to read folks' thoughts on their drafts, even more so when it's someone in a league I play in. Oddly enough, I like my team in your league this year, too. Good luck, except in whatever weeks I play you. Then, suck.
